Inspiration

Inspiration from nature

From the very beginning GORI’s inspiration came from the Scandinavian nature and the surrounding landscapes, and this principle is most clearly manifested in the description of GORI’s three main colour scales:

Wood colours

Enhance the wood grains and surface structure in colours, which are close to the natural wood colours of various wood species.

Earth colours

Keep the wood grains and surface structure visible in harmonious, calm and genuine shades, which do not look like wood, but still have their origin in nature’s own colour palette.

Coast colours

Hide the wood grains, but keep the surface structure with opaque colours inspired by the light and romantic play of colours, which is so typical for the Danish coasts.
